Buckwool Contour Pillow in Organic Case

Contour pillows are one of the simplest and most effective fixes for neck pain. Requiring no prescription pills and no physical therapy, these pillows work to support your neck while keeping your neck and spine in alignment while you sleep. When we first started looking to create a contour pillow from White Lotus Home, we noticed some major problems with the ones already available:
  • They weren’t adjustable — once you bought one, you were stuck with its shape
  • They were made of synthetic materials like memory foam
  • They were expensive
Putting our warehouse of natural fibers to work, we created the KaPillow, an all-natural contour pillow that is affordable, effective, and completely adjustable, and after the great feedback from our customers, we decided to expand it to our other natural fibers.

Meet our hybrid pillow — the half buckwheat hull, half wool pillow that conforms to your body, but gives you an escape from the rustling of seed hulls.

Perfect for sleepers sensitive to the fine noises buckwheat hulls can make in a pillow casing, our unique Buckwool pillows offer the best of both worlds:

  • The quiet, plushness of wool

  • The conforming support of buckwheat hulls

Buckwool - Best for people with neck or back pain who still want a soft, breathable pillow; Great middle ground for many, can be flipped from wool side to buckwheat side depending on personal preferences.

Buckwheat Hulls

Buckwheat hulls are the shells derived from buckwheat plants. Naturally resistant to pests and competitive with weeds, buckwheats are a sustainable crop to grow and require very little input from the land to mature. We source buckwheat hulls to ensure our happy customers never come into contact with pesticides in their pillows.

Wool from Happy Sheep

Here at White Lotus Home, we hold our shepherds to the highest standards of quality and ethics. Our sheep are raised on rotating pastures to prevent erosion and overgrazing, and their beautiful wool is never treated with chemicals or flame retardants.

Our Buckwool pillows are naturally antimicrobial and dust mite resistant, and require no flame-retardant chemical treatments to be safe. Wool is comfortable in the summer and winter, thanks to its natural insulative properties.

The Organic Cotton Twill fabric used in this product is certified organic and imported.

How the Contour Pillow Works

The Contour Pillow design is simple — a soft, organic cotton sateen casing, filled with our Buckwheat and pure Wool fiber. The pillow has a half-seam in the center of it, creating a dip for your head, and leaving a lip on either side to support your neck. To adjust the firmness of your Contour Pillow is easy — just unzip it, and add or remove filling as you see fit. Getting the firmness of this pillow just right for your individual preference is important to it working properly for you, which is why we made it easy to adjust.

How to Sleep on the Contour Pillow

The Contour Pillow is ideal for anyone seeking to alleviate stress on their neck, and is particularly well-suited for side sleepers and pregnant women. Place the Contour Pillow in your bed and move it according to where your head naturally falls. You can also use the Contour Pillow between your legs to help relieve hip stress, another common problem for pregnant women.
